We’ve spread our wings and given the whole Redbreast range a makeover. Don’t worry – it’s the same whiskey you love, but with a refreshed new look.
For the first time, each bottle features raised lettering, spelling out ‘Redbreast’ at the base of the neck and ‘Single Pot Still’ on the reverse. This is accompanied by beautiful new labels in a lighter cream colour, with an embossed, textured background.
Our robin redbreast has been reimagined in hand-drawn illustrations by celebrated Irish illustrator Denise Nestor. Denise is a supremely talented artist from Co. Mayo. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Atlantic and Variety to name a few, and she has exhibited in the Royal Hibernian Gallery, the 100 Archive and many others. Denise’s drawings are delicate, detailed and driven by an innate passion for nature. She has reinvented our robin redbreast in different flight positions for each expression of our whiskey, representing the evolution of our brand over time and the continuous journey of discovery that Redbreast drinkers find themselves on.
To complement these beautiful illustrations, we have introduced a vibrant, new colour palette of red, copper, navy, green and steel blue to distinguish each variant; with Redbreast 21 Year Old presented in a premium, handmade wooden box. The front labels will also include tasting notes to showcase the unique characteristics of each expression and help whiskey lovers on their journey through our range.
The new Redbreast design will be released throughout 2019, with Redbreast 12 Year Old, Redbreast 15 Year Old and Redbreast Lustau available from July and August. The new packaging will be introduced to Redbreast 21 Year Old and Redbreast 12 Cask Strength from autumn.
